We're having our fall edition of the Trail clean up on Saturday, November 2. Like the spring, we will meet in the morning at some of the pavilions and create teams for the morning/day.
The day will most likely cleaning branches, debris and rubbish from the Trail and its sides so please plan to dress accordingly.

ABOUT THE RIDE Join Bushtukah, Common Empire and the Prescott Russell Recreational Trail Association, experiencing a day of cycling along the Prescott Russell Trail, looping back on some quiet country roads for a total of 53km’s. We’ll be stopping at Broken Stick Brewing for some drinks, snacks and social.
WHERE? We’ll be meeting at the Bushtukah Orleans location to start the ride. Please arrive early!
WHEN? Sept 29th, 2024 9:30am arrival time10:00am departure
THE ROUTE:
We will leave Bushtukah, heading towards the Prescott Russell Trail, travelling to Broken Stick Brewing for some drinks, food and social, and then looping back along Willhaven Drive to Orleans, finishing at Bushtukah. For those interested in staying on the rail trail, you’re welcome to ride back that way, the distance is about the same as the loop. It’s up to you! IS IT YOUR FIRST GROUP RIDE? If it’s your first group ride, please arrive 10 minutes early to go through riding safety instructions.
RIDE CATEGORIES: We will break up the ride into categories, to groups of 10-15 based on your ride pace. Please choose your group according to your personal fitness level. Remember that the goal is for everyone to have fun no matter the pace of the ride!
A - FAST: This is a fast paced group however there will be regroups throughout the ride route. Avg speed 30-34kph. B - MEDIUM: This is a medium paced group and will keep everyone together. Avg speed 26-30kph.
C - CHILL: This is a chill group and will keep everyone together. Avg speed 20-26kph.
D - EXTRA CHILL: This is the extra chill group and will average 15-20kph.

Come and help the Trail team do some spring cleaning along the Trail on Saturday, April 13, starting at 9am.
Interested volunteers will help the teams starting at the Bourget, Alfred & St-Eugene Pavilions. They will pick up debris and dead trees to make it more accessible and safe for the 2024 season.
